Martin Barber from Alberton Camera Club wins with “D-Day”
In this composite of a bombing raid of a German airfield in World War 2, the German Messerschmitt was taken at the War Museum in Johannesburg and the model in studio. All the other elements were made up from photos I had taken all over the place.
The idea came from an photo I had seen in a photographic mag and liked the concept of building up an image to create an old war scene.
Thanks to the Judges and all who took the time to make this possible to showcase our work.
