Theo Potgieter from Creative Camera Club is our February winner!
Theo, congratulations on your winning image – Campo Dela Salute
Theo says:-
I was fortunate enough to go on an extended European trip during December.
This image was taken during dawn on a very chilly winter morning in Venice.
It showcases Campo De La Salute (a Venetian icon) and Grand Canal from Academia Bridge.
The technical data is : Nikon D850, Sigma 24-35mm F2 Art lens, 300 seconds at f7.1 , ISO 64 and a ND filter to slow the shutter speed down smoothing out the water and clouds.
It was post processed in Lightroom and Photoshop.
Our 1st Runner-up is Geo Jooste from Bloemfontein Kameraklub with “High jump”
Our 2nd Runner-up is Quintis Heine from Tafelberg Fotografieklub with “Kosi Bay Jetty”
Thank you to the judges:

HOW DOES THIS COMPETITION WORK?
This is a PSSA monthly competition where authors enter their own image onto Photovault. Appointed judges select the winning image. The monthly winner gets displayed on the home page of our website for the duration of the month.
Entries for the website competition are entered by the authors themselves via Photovault at www.photovaultonline.com.
Click here to download instructions on how to upload your entry onto Photovault.
Frequently we do require high resolutions of these images as PSSA uses them for Print Exhibitions to promote PSSA as well as showcasing the work being done around the country.
At the end of the PSSA calendar year (30 June of each year) the Website Competition Winning Image of the Year is selected.
