He is our October winner with the image “Joburg Colours”
I was fortunate to be invited to join a group outing to the Johannesburg Council Chambers in Braamfontein organised by Fazel Raymond.
It was a particularly cold and windy late August evening. I had my doubts about standing on top of a building in windy conditions like that but ended up going anyway.
The wind proved to be so bad a fellow photographer literally looked away for a second and almost had her gear blown off the roof by the wind. Fortunately,
quick reactions from her husband saved the day and the gear. Needless to say, the conditions were very challenging, especially with long exposure.
The image was taken with a Canon 5D mk3 with 17mm-40mm Canon lens.

HOW DOES THIS COMPETITION WORK?
This is a PSSA monthly competition where clubs enter their monthly Junior winner onto Photovault. Appointed judges select the winning image. The monthly winner gets displayed on the home page of our Website for the duration of the month.
For the Junior Club Competition Winner of the Month, a club representative (ideally the Chairperson) submits the club winner via Photovault at www.photovaultonline.com.

At the end of the PSSA calendar year (30 June of each year) the Junior Club Competition Winning Image of the Year is selected.
