Geoff wrote:
“The real credit for the photo should go to my wife Ceridwyn. It was just after 5:30am one morning in February when she excitedly ran into the house and told me to get my camera. She had gone out into the back garden to switch on the water for our vegetable garden when she spotted the damselfly. As it was still cool it remained absolutely motionless throughout the set-up of camera, lens and tripod, only flying away about an hour later. I used my Canon 77D with a Canon 105 macro lens, The settings were 1/25s, f4, ISO 100”

HOW DOES THIS COMPETITION WORK?
This is a PSSA monthly competition where clubs enter their monthly Junior winner onto Photovault. Appointed judges select the winning image. The monthly winner gets displayed on the home page of our Website for the duration of the month.
For the Junior Club Competition Winner of the Month, a club representative (ideally the Chairperson) submits the club winner via Photovault at www.photovaultonline.com.

Frequently we do require high resolutions of these images as PSSA use them for Print Exhibitions to promote PSSA as well as showcasing the work being done around the country.
At the end of the PSSA calendar year (30 June of each year) the Junior Club Competition Winning Image of the Year is selected.
