Youth Biennial Results
Congratulations to our Youth on their excellent results in the FIAP Youth Biennial and especially to Landi Drotsky on winning the FIAP Gold Medal in the Junior section.

FIAP Distinction Application Requirements for 2022
Good news for applicants just about ready to apply is that the requirements for 2022 will be staying the same as for 2021. The new rules will only be discussed and voted on at the FIAP Congress next year and will then only come into effect in 2023.
There are however some changes for 2022 –
– 5 acceptances per image will count
– There is a new process for submitting your applications – be sure to contact Jenny Stilwell jenny@lgss.co.za in the New Year prior to completing any forms.
– The closing date for applications to be received by Jenny will be 15 June to give us time to check them. The applications will only be submitted to FIAP in September which means that those of you who achieved your AFIAP in September this year will be able to apply for your EFIAP in 2022.
– There is an increase in the handling fee to cover the cost of couriering the badges and certificates to the successful applicants

FIAP Wildlife Competition – Free Entry
This competition is organized under FIAP patronage in Luxembourg and acceptances will be eligible for FIAP distinctions.
Participation in this competition is free of charge. There will be 2 sections with digital colour images.
1. Animal behaviour – the images must reveal interesting, unusual or amazing behaviours in the animal world.
2. Animal or animals in their environment – the images must convey a feeling of the relationship between an animal and the place where it lives.
The FIAP Best Author will receive an invitation to a FIAP Congress or Photo Meeting (including travel & hotel costs).
