Eric Bosman from Kriel Fotoklub is our June winner!
Eric, congratulations on your winning image – Ou Tande
Eric says:
The photo was taken at Sunset dam, Kruger National Park.
On this particular day we waited at Sunset dam for some action. Unfortunately, it was a very quiet morning with little action and opportunities to take photos. I then noticed this crocodile bathing in the sun and started playing around using different F-stops. When I started editing the photo, the photo taken at F4 was the best photo regarding the depth of field.
A Nikon D850 and a Nikon 500mm F4 were used.
Our 1st Runner-up is Monique van Rooyen from Klerksdorp Fotografieklub with “Working the Land”
Our 2nd Runner-up is Geo Jooste from Bloemfontein Kameraklub with “Playing in sand cubs”
Thank you to the judges:
Evelyn Gibson – Cape Town Photographic Society
Robbie Aspeling – Sandton Photographic Club
Maureen Fourie – F Stop Fotografiese Vereniging

HOW DOES THIS COMPETITION WORK?
This is a PSSA monthly competition where authors enter their own image onto Photovault. Appointed judges select the winning image. The monthly winner gets displayed on the home page of our website for the duration of the month.
Entries for the website competition are entered by the authors themselves via Photovault at www.photovaultonline.com.
Click here to download instructions on how to upload your entry onto Photovault.
Frequently we do require high resolutions of these images as PSSA uses them for Print Exhibitions to promote PSSA as well as showcasing the work being done around the country.
At the end of the PSSA calendar year (30 June of each year) the Website Competition Winning Image of the Year is selected.
