Mari Rossouw from Brandpuntfotoklub is our August winner!
Mari, congratulations on your winning image – Scary Tawny

Mari says:
We were lucky to spend time at Zimanga Private Game Reserve this past February, where I had the chance to capture this unforgettable moment. In a surprising twist of bravery, it was the guinea fowl that took on the role of the aggressor, boldly attempting to drive off the tawny eagle. Of course, despite its valiant effort, the odds were never truly in its favour!

HOW DOES THIS COMPETITION WORK?
This is a PSSA monthly competition where clubs enter their monthly Senior winner onto Photovault. Appointed judges select the winning image. The monthly winner gets displayed on the home page of our Web site for the duration of the month.
For the Junior Club Competition Winner of the Month, a club representative (ideally the Chairperson) submits the Junior club winner via Photovault at www.photovaultonline.com.
Click here to download instructions on how to upload your entry onto Photovault
All images must be original and must not incorporate elements produced by anyone else. By virtue of submitting an entry, the clubs must certify all the work in the entered image as their club member’s own. The PSSA Director of Competitions has the right to ask for the RAW files.
Frequently we do require high resolutions of these images as PSSA use them for Print Exhibitions to promote PSSA as well as showcasing the work being done around the country.
At the end of the PSSA calendar year (30 June of each year) the Senior Club Competition Winning Image of the Year is selected.
