FPSSA, EPSSA
It seems as though photography has always been part of who I am. At first I tried to paint, but I quickly realised that I was no painter. However, the urge to create kept burning inside me and I found that with photography, I could satisfy this urge.
I bought my first digital camera in 2005 and in 2006 joined the Vanderbijlparkse Fotografiese Vereniging as well as PSSA.
In 2007 I joined the committee of the Vanderbijlpark Photographic Society as the PRO, a position I still hold. For a few years I also assisted the PSSA PRO and financial director in identifying sponsors and negotiating with them with the object of obtaining sponsorship for both the IMAGE and PSSA congresses.
In 2011 I achieved my APSSA honours (digital open) and in 2015 my FPSSA (digital, colour, HD).
I am an active judge at my local club as well as at clubs in the surrounding areas. I also judge National Salons on a regular basis.
