FIAP - The International Federation of Photographic ArtFIAP DISTINCTIONS 2025 - Application for FIAP Distinctions is now open.The requirements are staying the same for 2025 - in other words you do needprint acceptances. Closing date is 31 March and all the info can be found here.To make your life easier FIAP have shared their database with us which lists all your FIAP acceptances since 2013. FIAP - LIST OF ACCEPTANCES WITH PATRONAGE NUMBERS. At the moment it does not include those for 2024 as they are still being finalised, but as soon as we receive them we will upload them. We will do that each year. FIAP NEWS - This is the FIAP e-magazine which can be accessed on their website here.FIAP are always on the lookout for articles and images for the FIAP News.A new column is the Youth Photographers Gallery, a space for photographers under the age of 25 to have some photos published in FIAP%u2019s magazine. This is for individuals and thus is good for any young photographer who is interested. The Recommendations section is a place for FIAP Photographers to recommend places and events for photography, sharing their personal insights as a photographer into the best location and best times for photographers to be in these places. Any photographer can send articles for this section.VERIFICATION OF THE AUTHENTICITY OF IMAGES - To verify that all parts of an image have been photographed by the author FIAP has introduced the following requirements for Biennial entries:The authors must preserve intact and without any alteration the original metadata of the images. If an imagedoes not include the original EXIF data, it will be disqualified (namely 0 points will be assigned to that file).They must be able to supply all the RAW files of the submitted images or the original unmodified jpg files. In the latter case the authors should also be able to supply the images taken immediately before andafter the submitted image.In the case of focus stacking or HDR it is mandatory to submit all the files used for the final image.FIAP PHOTO ACADEMY - The FIAP Photo Academy was established in 2020 to promote the Art of Photography and to share our passion for Photography.
