Senior Club Competition Winners January 2022

Bloemfontein Kameraklub Michiel Duvenhage Geelvink 8 TSG Okt 21

Michiel Duvenhage from Bloemfontein Camera Club is our January winner!

Michiel, congratulations on your winning image – Geelvink

Michiel says:

Photo was taken at Geluksdeel water level hide close to Bloemfontein during the breading season.

A lot of dominant masked weavers were looking to stake their claim. I previously saw the cue before a fight and when I saw the same cue, I was waiting for the fight to begin and within a split second it was all over, thanks to my Sony A1 and Sony 200-600mm lens I was able to freeze this moment in time.

Our 1st runner-up is Eddie Reynecke from Krugersdorp Camera Club with “Highland dropwings pair”
