All photographers are invited to attend the annual Mpumalanga Regional Photography Congress at Secunda.
It will be held at the Basement Theatre at Lake Umuzi Waterfront in Secunda, kicking off with a ‘bring and braai’ on the evening of Thursday 20 March 2014. It will end Sunday late morning with a prize giving.
There will be several exciting photo opportunities such as fantastic fields of Cosmos unique to the Highveld Ridge area, several bird species at the venue, a night time fire fighting display by the Sasol Fire Brigade and not to mention the night photography of the Sasol skyline amongst others. Secunda will also be hosting the Cosmos 3-in-1 Mountain Bike Challenge that weekend.
Due to the unique history of Secunda this year’s theme and the set subject will be “Industry”.
Interesting lecturers will include Barry Wilkins, Jill Sneesby, Manus van Dyk and Francois Roux.
