I bought my first DSLR camera in 2009 and joined the Vanderbijlparkse Fotografiese Vereniging during the same year and am still an active Club Member.

During 2012, I joined PSSA and have been active in taking part in National Salons ever since.

I was Chairman of the Vanderbijlparkse Fotografiese Vereniging from 2016 to 2022, and Salon Director from 2014 (still active). I received JAP accreditation in 2019 and I am an active judge at my photo club and I also judge at clubs in the region and at National Salons.

Although I enjoy all genres of photography, my favourite genres are landscapes, nature, sports and travel photography.
