Junior Club Competition Winners May 2022

AFO Photography Club - Elsa van Nieuwenhuizen - Blomme meisie

Elsa van Nieuwenhuizen from AFO Photography Club is our May winner!

Elsa, congratulations on your winning image – Blomme meisie

Elsa says:

I took the photo just after my 50th birthday. I wanted to do something special to remember some of my beautiful birthday flowers by, and my then 16-year-old daughter kindly humoured me.

Since she is usually my go-to girl when I have certain photographic visions, it just made the image extra special to me. I think her beauty and grace, and the beauty of the flowers complemented each other perfectly.

Our 1st runner-up is Johan van Graan from Randburg Foto Klub with “Leopard lunch in camel thorn tree”

This is a PSSA monthly competition where clubs enter their monthly Junior winner onto Photovault. Appointed judges select the winning image.  The monthly winner gets displayed on the home page of our Website for the duration of the month.

For the Junior Club Competition Winner of the Month, a club representative (ideally the Chairperson) submits the club winner via Photovault at www.photovaultonline.com

Instructions on how to upload your entry onto Photovault can be downloaded here  doc

Frequently we do require high resolutions of these images as PSSA use them for Print Exhibitions to promote PSSA as well as showcasing the work being done around the country.

At the end of the PSSA calendar year (30 June of each year) the Junior Club Competition Winning Image of the Year is selected.
