Junior Club Competition Winners January 2018

Congratulations to Tanya Nadauld from Hibiscus Coast Photographic Society!

She is our January winner with “Blue Bird”

Canon EOS 5D Mark 4
Canon EF 100-400 f4.5-5.6 L IS 2 USM
Canon EF 100 f2.8 Macro IS USM

This image is a composite of quite a few images taken at different focal lengths. I love shooting at f2.8 on manual focus for the dreamlike quality of the images, while the bird was shot at f7.1.

I tried to create a feeling of otherworldliness with this image, a place for the imagination to run free.

Our 1st runner-up is Jen Adam from Westville Camera Club with “Almost Christmas”

2018.01 02 Jen Adam Westville Camera Club Almost Christmas

Our 2nd runner-up is Jannes Drotsky from Bethal Fotografieklub with “Lang pad”
