Dear Members
Thank you to all those who replied to the recent survey that went out, it was very helpful and PSSA appreciates the time and effort you all put in.
The Board of PSSA held a Bosberaad this past week end at Lady Grey in the Eastern Cape. Many Strategies were put in place and are being unpacked now, so please watch this space over the coming months for the outcome of this Bosberaad.
Important dates to keep and put in your Calendar :
(a) NOMINATIONS FOR REGIONAL DIRECTORS
Nomination forms will be out between 1 – 5 July, Voting between 22nd July – 5th August, Results will be announced 10 August. (These are the planned dates for this event, but as we are all aware dates can vary by a day either way due to unforeseen circumstances.) These are important positions for your Region from a communication perspective, assistance and help situation perspective, as it keeps clubs up to date with all matters connected with and about PSSA.
(b) HONOURS APPLICATIONS
Closing date for entries 25th June. Good luck to all! You will find the Honours Application documents here.
(c) COMPETITIONS
All competitions for PSSA from 1 July will be HD format. Contact the PRO, Evelyn for the Club Winners and Web Site Competitions and for all other Competitions, contact the Competitions Divisional Chairperson, Anne.
(d) SALONS
HD Format only from 1 July 2018, but if requested you will be allowed to hold one in this format before that date – Contact Roel, the Salon Director.
(e) PSSA NATIONAL CONGRESS 2017 – GAUTENG – 24 to 29 September
All info is already here on our web site. Some great speakers and activities organised.
(f) MEMBERSHIP FEES
Our membership went up slightly in the last few months which is encouraging for PSSA. Your renewal/subs notice for the year 2017/2018 will be going out soon. Contact Ria our Membership Secretary with any queries.
As always some wonderful and stunning images this month for the Clubs’ Senior and Junior and the Web Site Competitions. The winners for the month of June will be the last images for this past year from July 2016 – June 2017 in these competitions. The overall winners will be announced at Congress. PLEASE KEEP ENTERING.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, it is also a story that we sometimes fail to put into words.
