Friendship & Solidarity Contest

“Friendship and Solidarity”, organized by FIAP (Federation International de l’Art Photographique) in collaboration with “Il Circolo Fotografico Arno”, is an international photographic competition that intends “to develop and to promote the Photographic Art in an atmosphere of friendship and fraternity among all people of the world, without any political, ideological, racial and religious discrimination”, through a solidarity project.

The Contest was open to all photographers of the world, with  a free theme and with theme “Friendship and Solidarity”.

I am delighted with the news that PSSA came 5th out of 29 entries in the Friendship and Solidarity World Cup – well done everyone!

I unfortunately don’t have the actual individual results yet but found the overall results on the FIAP website.

I am especially pleased that we scored so highly (45 out of 50) for coherence as this has always been one of our problem areas when selecting entries for FIAP World Cup competitions, it is one of the reasons that we have instigated the PSSA Members Salon and I do hope that all of you have entered, if not closing date is 31 March so you do have a few days left to enter.
