FPSSA, EPSSA(Mille), DPSSA(VERS), EFIAP
Francois joined the Bloemfontein camera club and PSSA in 1996 and has since been an active member of both. He holds the highest star ranking in the club, namely Galaxy, and hold the following PSSA and FIAP honours titles:
APSSA – colour slides.
APSSA – colour digital.
FPSSA – colour digital.
DPSSA(Vers)
AFIAP
He is an active participant in PSSA salons and has won the Impala trophy in 2006 (slides), 2007 (slides) and 2011 (digital) and the Nature Category (digital) in 2018 and 2020. He has generally finished under the top 10 in other years.
His main area of interest is wildlife photography, landscapes and sports photography.
