“Pure” by Ronel Broderick from Alberton Camera Club
I started out with this image as a normal photograph and wanted to take a high key photograph a step further. My main idea was to actually have an all white image and only a few basic lines must create the image. I first converted the photo in Photoshop to Black and White and then put the colours back in. The soft shadows and the colours at the right places show the profile of the girl. I cropped it very tight because I wanted only the eyes and mouth. Since I added the colours myself I decided to use a bit of water paint effect as an extra to finish it off.
